The CBN Company was founded by Agus M. Soedarsa in 2000. He has over 32 years of involvement and extensive experience supporting the geothermal industry and its development. CBN has several multi-discipline engineers and specialists who are supported by experts and professionals with various experiences and broad Knowledge in geothermal exploration and development projects.
CBN has long and extensive experience providing EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), Consultants, and Project Management Services, specialty in geothermal exploration and development projects, infrastructures, well testing, resource assessment, steam field development, steam gathering systems, drilling site preparation, landslide restorations, geothermal surface hazards assessment and mapping, earthworks (cuts/fills and slopes stability) drilling supports (civil and piping), electrical and instrument control systems and general construction.

Jose Perez with 33 years of expertise in the Oil&Gas and Geothermal industry, encompassing Gas, Mechanical, and Drilling Engineering, along with extensive experience in Exploration & Production across areas like Drilling, Workover, Civil Works, and Well Test Production Facilities for shallow and deep wells. With a career spanning diverse geographies, including Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico, Ecuador, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Indonesia, Bolivia, El Salvador, Kenya, and Turkey, he certified PMP® status, Ph.D. in Renewable Energy, and a Master’sJose Perez brings over 33 years of rich experience in the Oil & Gas and Geothermal sectors, with a strong focus on Gas, Mechanical, and Drilling Engineering. His expertise spans Exploration & Production, encompassing diverse areas such as Drilling, Workover, Civil Works, and Well Test Production Facilities for both shallow and deep wells. Throughout his career, Jose has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed organizations such as PDVSA, NOV, Schlumberger, Halliburton, ENDE-JICA, KfW-PLN, the World Bank, LaGEO, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), AGIL-PGE, and CELEC EP-JICA. These experiences have allowed him to gain valuable insights from both operator and contractor perspectives, contributing significantly to the industry. Degree in Engineering specializing in Drilling and Mechanical Engineering has allowed him to collaborate with prominent organizations such as PDVSA, NOV, Schlumberger, Halliburton, ENDE-JICA, KfW-PLN, World Bank- LaGEO, International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), AGIL-PGE, CELEC EP-JICA, and Worldwide-Lenders, gaining invaluable insights from both Operator and Contractor perspectives.

He brings over 20 years of valuable experience supporting business operations across diverse sectors, including geothermal, mining, oil and gas, and infrastructure. His expertise covers various areas such as finance, business development, new ventures, and contractor management, along with strong connections in renewable energy networks. He holds a degree in Economics and Accounting from Gunadarma University in Jakarta, Indonesia, and has participated in more than 40 classes on technical skills, business, and project management.

He has over 36 years of extensive experience in various industries, including geothermal, mining, etc. He spent over 30 years with Unocal and Chevron Geothermal as a Geologist, Project Manager, and head of Policies and Government Public Affairs. Alimin obtained his degree in applied geology from Padjajaran University, Bandung, and his postgraduate degree in geothermal resource management from Auckland University, New Zealand. Previously (year), he was Chairman of the Indonesia National Geothermal Association (INAGA).

Agus Soedarsa is the founder of PT. Cipta Bangun Nusantara (CBN). He has over 32 years of extensive experience, broad Knowledge, and involvement in various geothermal exploration and development projects, including 20 years with Unocal and Chevron Geothermal Indonesia. In the last 15 years, he led numerous geothermal projects, including at Sorik Marapi, Salak, Wayang Windu, Darajat, Sarulla, Tulehu, Sokoria, Baturaden, Rantau Dedap, Hammiding, Dieng, and now is Jailolo geothermal fields. He obtained his Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the Victoria University of Technology, and a Diploma in Municipal Engineering from the Footscray Institute of Technology, Victoria, Australia. Furthermore, he attended over 100 technical and project management courses.

Senior Engineering Manager
Jun Huh is the Senior Technical (Engineering) Manager of PT. Cipta Bangun Nusantara, he has long and extensive experience (over 30 years) as a mechanical and process engineer in petrochemical, oil and gas, and geothermal. Jun Huh was dedicated to Hyundai as Engineering Manager to support the Sarulla Geothermal Power Project to design and build Resource Production Facilities (RPF) and Power Generation facilities (PGF) of 300 MW in Silankitang and Namora I Langit, North Sumatra. Furthermore, Jun Huh has broad Knowledge of geothermal project development, including steam field development, steam gathering systems, steam and brine injection pipelines, design and construction of welltest facilities, and other resource production facilities within the geothermal power and operation. Jun Huh graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Hanyang University, Korea, and obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd.

Equipped with a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) focusing on Project Management, and a Geothermal Diploma from El Salvador, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to contract management. With over 6 years of hands-on experience in the energy industry, he has developed a proven ability to manage complex projects, optimize resource allocation, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
